As a former student and a current parent in North Vancouver School District, I have a deep understanding of our public school system. As a former preschool manager and current university employee I bring seasoned experience over the spectrum of education.
- School leadership: PAC Chair and school planning committee member at Ross Road for the last three years. I got to know the strengths and challenges of our school and focused on community building to increase school connections for every family.
- NVSD involvement: Elected school trustee and vice chair in 2021. Provided input on NVSD’s next 10-year strategic plan at multiple community stakeholder events and attended NVPAC and board meetings to gain insight and share information.
- Community experience: Trustee for North Vancouver District Public Library, President of Lynn Valley Parent Participation Preschool, and 2018 recipient of the Good Neighbour Award
As school trustee, I advocate for students and program enhancements to strengthen learning outcomes at all schools.
